The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race will sail into Abell Point Marina, Whitsundays in January 2018, as part of the All-Australian Leg.
The yachts will be berthing at Abell Point Marina for several days before departing to start Race 7 to Sanya, China. Airlie Beach will host the twelve identical 70-foot ocean racing yachts, their skippers and their international crew and supporters as the final stop of the Australian leg of the race.
You will have the opportunity to go aboard and check out some of the Clipper Race yachts and enjoy the festive atmosphere at the yachts get ready to sail. Watch the sky light up with firework celebrations or see off the fleet for the start of race 7 to Sanya, China.
